Before Your Bring In Your Computer
Backup your computer, if possible. Most repairs will not affect any of your stored files, images, music, or settings, but you may want access these items during the repair. A backup is the easiest option. DataVision may be able to create a backup of your system for an additional charge.
If your computer‘s operating system is password protected, please change the password prior to bringing it in. You may change this after the repair
Bringing Your Computer to DataVision
Bring your service ticket number, which will be issued upon completion of your service request form.
Please remember your power cord if possible. Your mouse or keyboard is not necessary, unless that is a potential source of the problem you are having.
What To Expect From Your Service at DataVision
Repair status, comments, and communication will be posted to our Ticket Status page, as well as emailed. In the event an additional repair or part is needed, you will be contacted for authorization and estimates.
Please be sure to retain your ticket user email address and your created password to log in for status updates.
Bring your receipt and identification when picking up your repair. Due to the secure nature of your computer system, and its value, we require ID upon pickup.
